#GivingTuesday for CUBFI

Dear friends,

 

Here at the League's Foundation, we are working harder than ever to lift CT residents and communities while raising awareness to credit unions throughout the state. As a way of helping people navigate the pandemic financially, Credit Unions Building Financial Independence underwrote the cost to send more than 40 credit union employees from 18 different credit unions through CUNA’s financial counseling program (FiCEP).

 

We were able to do this at no cost to CTs Credit Unions, but we can’t reach our goal of having one certified credit union financial counselor at every affiliated credit union in Connecticut without your financial support.

 

Every dollar you donate to the League’s Foundation gets reinvested back into Connecticut’s credit unions through programs like FiCEP, CDFI assistance, or our small credit union fund.

 

Your gift also supports our financial education efforts and financial reality fairs, which have provided financial education to more than 35,000 CT high school students—2,500 served virtually since the pandemic.

 

We are excited for what 2022 will bring and are grateful for those who supported us in #GivingTuesday last year and made donations in the current year.
