Dear CUBFI Champion,


This #GivingTuesday, we’re reaching out to make a special request. As part of a global movement of generosity, we’re asking for your help to continue our mission of helping Connecticut residents and communities build and maintain financial independence through assistance initiatives, financial education, professional development programs, and helping credit unions to do the same. Thanks to your past donations and generosity, here are some of the initiatives and programing we've done:

  

• Provided FiCEP (ACU’s certified financial counseling program) to nearly 30 CT CU professionals at 14 different credit unions at no cost to participants in 2024, bringing our total to more than 135 certified counselors in three years.

• Sent four credit union professionals through the National Credit Union Foundation's development education program, which helps credit union professionals understand our unique social mission.

• Provided scholarships to credit union professionals to attend ACU's Government Affairs Conference (GAC) and APEX

• Provided in-person financial education to thousands of high school students through our Bite of Reality App

• Delivered Exploring the Why Workshop (EWW) to 60 credit union professionals to deepen CU employees' understanding of why credit unions do the work we do.



Your support can make a real difference. Every contribution goes towards fueling our mission, programs and initiatives. This year, we’re aiming to raise $5,000 and we need your help to make it happen.
